UM Pharmauji, a subsidiary of UMH dedicated to serving the healthcare sector, is poised for significant advancements in 2023. Focused on three pivotal areas - reinvestment in drug discovery targeting Lymphoma Cancer, pharmaceutical certification, and the advancement and commercialization of pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical products - UM Pharmauji is committed to driving innovation and excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.
UM Plantations aims to be a model of innovation and excellence in sustainable agriculture, employing science-driven R&D and technology to improve oil palm yields, transition to multi-cropping, and promote sustainable farming practices. Additionally, we target green technologies for a low-carbon future.
UM Capital Berhad (UMCB) and UM Innovations (UMI) are committed to exploring the role as a venture builder in strengthening new businesses and intellectual properties owned by Universiti Malaya. They aim to nurture and scale spin-off companies and business pods to increase the valuation of the portfolio companies. They validate novel business ideas, offering an agile, cost-effective path to business expansion. Currently, our portfolio includes 7 spin-off companies and 24 business pods.
The University of Malaya-Wales (UMW) offers Dual Award programs in collaboration with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD).
